This book is amazing and for a great value. Even though you may think these languages can be very difficult to learn, this book makes it very very easy trust me. I've been using it for my latest trips to those areas and it's amazing hoe accurate the vocabulary is. Very happy that i found it online. Looking forward to see some more. Best language learning tool I have ever used. It was extremely informative and I love how the author breaks down certain subjects so that you can learn the words much easier. If you are looking for a language learning book this is it!
Excellent book that is fairly well written, the author did a marvelous job in choosing the 350 most commonly used words which are used in day-to-day conversations. I may travel to the Morocco, Tunisia, and Egypt soon so I am excited since this book will definitely help. I recommend this book to other travelers.
Really good book and I am sure I can get by with the content of this book to communicate with Arabic speakers. I’m gonna go see the other books this author has for sale.
This book seems interesting but it is so wrong. My husband is Algerian, born and raised in Algiers. He read the first page of the Algerian Arabic and was shocked how wrong everything was. He says only about 40% was actually Algerian and the rest was either Arabic or Moroccan Arabic. In fact he's quite irritated about it and can't believe people are buying this book not knowing that what's inside is wrong. I can only speak of the Algerian section but I suspect the rest is poorly researched as well.
The pitch for the book argues it uses a unique method, when all there are here are short lists with a direction to memorize the list, plus a little grammar. That's a method, but it is hardly unique and there are better . The book also does not use Arabic letters and the English transliterations are not precise enough to convey correct pronunciation nor are they really what you should be memorizing. Skip it.
a great set of books ! i got 3 books with a very low price. i wanted to only have Egyptian dialect but found this set so i bought it to give it a try and they are amazing indeed. recommended to anyone wanting to learn these dialects as fast and as good as possible. great value with little money compared to it.
