I loved this book. We read it to our Brownie Girl Scout Troop as information for the girls to earn their Bug Badge with. We loved learning the definition of a keystone species and my daughter has constantly reminded her brothers that honeybees are vital to the ecosystem ever since. Highly recommended!

This book perfectly relates with habitat and ecosystem lessons. It also connects humans with the bee which draws students into the importance of the health of bee populations. Must have book in any teachers informational library.

Great book for learning about food chains and ecosystems. My students really enjoyed this read. I chose this book over the other ones because I felt like my students could relate to it the best. They enjoyed it and the illustrations/visuals are great!

I am using this with first grader in my library to start our project-based learning about how to help save there bees. Great illustrations and facts, and the author writes in a clearly understandable way for little ones.

7 year old granddaughter loved it

This book was purchased as a companion to a unit on the importance of bees in our ecosystem. The illustrations are beautiful and I especially like that certain flowers/fruits/animals are blacked out to show their potential disappearance in the ecosystem should bees go extinct. Facts are accurate. Great book to introduce food chains and interdependence in ecosystems.

I used this book for a whole group read aloud. My students were on the edge of their seats! This book was helpful in making our studies of food webs personally meaningful.

Bought it to read to my 3rd/4th grade students. Very informative, they learned a lot about the bees and their importance to our ecosystem 😄
