I really enjoyed reading these books!! They were very interesting to read. I enjoyed the way the author brought the three races together. They were definitely in need of realising that they needed each other to survive. I would most definitely recommend these books to my friends for reading!!
The first 5 books in this series are awesome and a great read. There is action, suspense and a few things you would not expect. I was expecting more of the details and plot lines to have been tied up by the middle of book 5, but that did not happen. I found that there are at least 5 more books in the series. I hope they do not create too many more plot lines, if that happens the series will get boring.So far the writer has kept the story line flowing and not tiresome. There are also not so many main characters that it is hard to keep up with them. There are a few characters that you just love to hate because they are so petty which gives the other characters some teeth.These are good books and I have purchased number 6 and hope the series stays fresh.
Many missing word and unnecessary word sentences show a back of proof reading afterletting a voice recognition software program write this book. In addition the complete reversal of a significant previously stated condition show a regrettable lack of attention to detail. In spite of these defects and an "almost" overwhelming volume of nearly identical combat scenarios and easily predictable scenes these 5 books were enjoyable read and kept my interest. I could wish Mr Hudson didn't enjoy reading as he wrote quite as much as he obviously does. It will take me a while to decompress from his first 5 before I am able to read any more of his or his voice recognition software's product.
If I was back in elementary school this would be a good read. The language is simple, with not to many grammatical errors. But, the rest needs work, a lot of work. Character development is fair to poor at best. Each book is too short. The story line is never fully explained. (Where, when, why) His understanding of military protocol and culture is non existent. I could not finish the entire series, (I got to the 6th book and quit). If I had to serve with some of his characters I would shoot myself or some of those idiots around me.
Good - I liked the dynamics between the different species, most of the action sequences were good,I took off a star for the bad physics and lack of engaging humour. Ships don't list to one side in space. Neither do space fighters have air to use wings on, they behave like 3dimentional hovercraft, Change orientation and fire rockets to begin to change your direction of travel, no reactive forces from air in space! For many this book will be a fun read, I lost interest in star wars when laser fire was visibly moving(not the speed of light)
Wow, what can I say. I usually don't buy authors I don't know if this Box Set format, but, hey for 0.99cents, how wrong can it go. This was awasome, I loved the fast pace, not to many important characters but very well intermingled. Humans, Chanisaars, Diakans, Jutaris, Kremers, Ronin, etc., The main character, Jon is everything you want in a hero and I really enjoyed these books very much, Just bought book number 6.
In the fight between the three galactic empires, the human forces always start out outnumbered and potentially outclassed. Through square-dealing, lucky breaks, and refusal to be divided, they more than survive each battle, but emerge more powerful at every turn. Their motto might be: See this dead hand of mine? That is truly some mistaken identification on your part. Pew, pew, pew.
This series of books literally begins with a chase scene in a crowded market! And it gets crazier from there. That being said, there’s a whole lot of interesting stuff going on, the characterization’s are good if a little two dimensional, The space warfare tactics are well explained and interesting to imagine, but the political machinations of the aliens seem all too human.
